Indecision

Good Lord do I love this. Off to the bookstore to find out who the designer is.

I can't decide ... no joke. The color catches my eye, but the design doesn't seem to work with the title.

Kitty, the book is about a vacillating main character who's roommate, a med student, turns him on to Abulinix, an experimental new treatment for chronic indecision.

I like this design a lot, too.

These things are all subjective, so what works for one may not necessarily work for another. Title and cover design are what cause me to pick up a book, and except for the color, this book doesn't tempt me very much.

I adore it!
I love all these bookcovers that look like mini posters, little works of art. And coming from an illustration background I'm excited that there's so many gorgeous illustrated covers at the moment.

Oy. But it's good to know that "I am making good job." :-)

It kinda smacks of the Jonathan Safran Foer trademark designs, but I'm sure those designs smack of someone else's designs originally. I just don't like when it's so obvious that in-house designers have jumped on some sort of bandwagon because a particular themse or style sold so well.
