Heston Blumenthal: In Search of Perfection

This is a cook book. This is a scary cook book, or at least a scary chef. And it's nice to know that architects don't have a monopoly on over-the-top artsy eyewear.

The eternal struggle between good and evil in the kitchen? The white plate as a holy aura vs. the trendy demonic face on the plate. Weird...

What an unusual way to promote a personality. Hey folks, let's make him look scary and dismissive of your culinary skills so you too will want to learn how to do it right! Bonus feature on 'how to find the perfect under-the-chin lighting to make your guests their ghoulish best!

This is style gone too far, or people at the BBC think their cookery viewers are masochists.
