I really enjoyed both of these books, and recommend them. The Eggers book might just get me to read more short fiction (I'm not a huge fan of the form), and
A Rabbit's Eyes is quirky and sweet. Japanese fiction rocks.
(They also happen to have pretty nifty covers.)

The first one (A Rabbit's Eyes) reminds me of the 1958 film, The Fly. "Help me! Help me!"
ReplyDeleteI should probably point out that a main character in the book is a young boy who raises flies as pets. Although what the title refers to still baffles me.
ReplyDeleteYou read books on your honeymoon!??!
