The best -- and sometimes the worst -- of book cover design
Fantastic.
It would be interesting to design a book to look like a moleskin journal. That is what came to mind when I saw this book.
what a perfect solution. This is a cover that is playful and graphically energetic and strong. There is this solidity to the way it makes you feel, but playful enough that you don't take it seriously all the way...
kinda looks like something Jon Gray would do...
it is The Heads of State who designed it
Anon: Thanks for the info. That explains why I like it so much.
You miss the wonderful symmetry of the back cover, which presents the blurbs in a shape the echoes the front cover image.
