Sci Fi books from Gollancz

Designs by Emma Wallace

Wonderfully daring covers from sci-fi publisher Gollancz, via We Made This, and nice additions to the BDR's collection of covers w/o titles. From their post on these covers:

"Fairyland by Paul J McAuley uses a holographic foil and irridescent cover stock; The Separation by Christopher Priest uses an uncoated stock and a deboss; and Hyperion by Dan Simmons uses a spot varnish over black."

  1. There's also the cover to Greg Egan's Schild's Ladder, which I still love, even if a fair number of the glow-in-the-dark stars came off on my hands.

    Oh!
    I love them!

Unfortunately in Agentina is imposible to do something like this, no editor or publisher will ever aprove it! (maybe in 15 years)

  3. Yup, we were very lucky to have a very brave editor, but the brief was to get these to a new audience so doing something different got them out of the SF shelves. We've had great feedback from other creatives but mix reviews from SF fans.
