Glamour: A History
Designer info to come
I'm the last person to say anything about glamour -- trust me on this one. So I'm wondering what you think about the photo selection here. I'm thinking funereal and glamorous aren't mutually exclusive, but again, you tell me.
My first thought was that she looks like she's in a chicken wire cage. I thought it was subtle, that she's trapped by her glamour. If that's the theme of the book, well done. If not... maybe I'm just not the book's target audience.
For some reason, the cover fails to be glamorous, probably because it tries too hard?

ReplyDeleteI like the photo, but the bling doesn't read "glamour" to me. Are those rhinestones in relief?

ReplyDeleteNot enough glamourous for me, and I think the font choices are not the best ones too.
ReplyDeleteI think glamour is a very personal, regional, and cultural thing. Also very dependent on the era you're talking about. I say it's a good job.
