Things I've Learned From Women Who've Dumped Me, paperback

The hardcover design was one of my favorites of 2008; here's the forthcoming paperback. The yuk factor's been turned up and overall this delivers, but it's the cold, clinical and meaner hardcover that does it for me. Buy this book from Amazon.com

  1. the original is definitely more witty. This is funny, but all that text and the font kind of ruins it all.

  3. The font to me seems like they PDF'd the design and the font wasn't embedded. Definitely not the typographical feel they were going for, I don't think.

This looks terrible. Uninteresting concept, poor realization.

I know for a fact that Paul Sahre did NOT design this.

I think it was done in house. Grand Central publishing i think.

C'mon guys! Does this look like something he would do??

  7. Anon 6:31: if you know who designed it, please send me the name. I certainly want to get attributions right on this site. Ben Karlin (the author) sent me email on Dec 22, one day after I posted the paperback, and said that Sahre designed it. He could have been referring to the hardcover, but that was already noted here, so I took his mail to refer to the paperback.

    Brigid Pearson designed.
It's good but I hate that Blue.
