Strawberry Fields

Design by Gray 318

I just hope Marina Lewycka keeps writing so that Jon Gray can keep designing covers like these. (Strawberry Fields is the new one.)

This illustrative style is so lovely and restrained. The covers are incredibly friendly. I just want to buy the books and put them at my bedside.

Another gorgeous cover. Thirsty work Jon!

Great cover . . . it's too bad that the cover it's printed on uncoated paper—that would make this cover perfect.

You're so right about the covers. The first time I saw the tractors, I immediately grabbed for it, even though I hadn't heard anything about the book.
I disagree with Dean about the uncoated thing. I think this adds to their rough beauty.

I totally agree about the uncoated paper. It's an integral part of the success of these designs.
