I wonder how essential the thin white frame is, though I like it.

i actually love the white frame because its breaks the perspective the rest of the type is in.

Well conceived, but I think it could have been executed better. I think a subtly aged marble wall, for example, might carry the lettering better. Especially if you put "The ... in American Politics" in Sharpie and carved "Paranoid Style" into the stone. (or vice versa)

Just a thought.

I like the way the text plays in to the perspective of the image. I wish the text that is not relative to the image was a slightly different style of type, though.
