Lighthousekeeping

I'm generally not fond of the faux-distressed treatment that's on many "serious" novels. And I'm not sure what to make of a picture of a lighthouse on a book about (?) lighthouses. It might have worked for All the Pretty Horses, but that was a long time ago...
