I just realized I took a class from this author as an undergraduate.
Oh, I really love this cover. It's partly the blue, although blue isn't my favorite color. And it's the city at night ... with that moon. I'd pick this book up in a NY minute. If the book was the worst crap ever, I'd toss the book and keep the cover. "New York Night" reminds me of Laura Hanifin's photography for James Crumley's "The Right Madness" ... also excellent. But that's just me :-)
