Coffee-Table Books

The Village Voice book section has a fun feature on the year's best coffee-table books.

Having just spent some time in Mexico, I'm particularly drawn to the book about masked Mexican wrestlers. And check out that dog statue!



The Laurie Simmons book is also worth checking out, if you like the posed figure / photography thing. Think David Levinthal w/out the Nazis. Check out some of her work here.
