Considering the subject matter, this is not an alluring cover. War? Victorian picnics? I mean, they could have used an image of a bottle being sabred in order to show that violence/enjoyment thing. (For the uninitiated, there is a centuries-old trick to open a champagne bottle with a sabre. It cleanly breaks the neck and makes it easy to pour, and added bonus of implied violence too!)
