Yuk.
makes perfect sense for the story though, the white squares are bathroom tiles (significant plot point) and are scored (sorry don't know correct technical term) for 'feel appeal'. I originally read a plain wrap proof copy (and adore the book) so was curious to see what would happen. Don't know that I like it, but there's no shortage of customers picking it up - and buying!
