Sunday, August 27, 2006The New ConfessionsLots of the Vintage International covers are really great; this is one of my favorites. The novel concerns "John James Todd, forgotten hero of the cinematic avant-garde of the 1920s and 1930s," and the illustration looks exactly right for that period.
