Sunday, October 01, 2006French and German editions of Kafka on the ShoreI was recommending Murakami to someone last night and ran into these. The French one is certainly more surreal, but there's something about the shocking color and close crop of the German edition that appeals to me as well.

Absolutely love the top cover!
While I agree with the shocking color and close crop of the second cover being good...the typography is terrible. The colors, the font, the placement...wrecks the whole cover for me. I adore the first cover.
the french version is exquisite
