Probably don't have to quote much else from the reviews other than "Smiley goes Hollywood." Can't help but notice the similarity to the hardcover of Rick Moody's The Diviners.

I recall that the Moody cover was originally intended to consist only of the barbarian art, but the theater seats were added after market testing indicated that buyers would avoid the book in droves, thinking it was a sword 'n' sorcery yarn.
I can verify that, James - the galleys went out with the full art.
That cover was the only good thing about the book, though.
