Nah, I don't like it. I don't think the hand-drawn / photo juxtaposition works.
i like the mixed media feel on this one. it reminds me of a friend's work so that may be influencing me a tad.
I find my eye drawn down too much into the blank space at the neck and that movement down away from the title leaves some effect to be desired since i'm staring at a suit not at the title of the book i should be buying.
I like the tie. Of course, then I read andy's comment and, of course, andy is right.
The hand rendered effect would have worked if the entire composition had been done in this style...
I like this cover alot.
