The N Word

Design by Michaela Sullivan

This says it all, doesn't it? I could quibble and say that perhaps there should be some interaction between the N and the scratch marks to highlight the premise of the book (instead of the N laying on top), but that would make me a jerk. This is a fantastically simple solution to what I hope is a pretty nuanced booked.

I dunno. Given the premise is that there are a few cases where use of the word is acceptable(as opposed to people who'd like it removed from the vocabulary altogether), I think having the N sit above, untouched, is kind of appropriate.

The author was on The Daily Show and/or The Colbert Report. Very funny stuff. As an Australian I would be wasting my time reading a book on the word nigger.

The "N" should also be in black with the outer edge of the word scuffed up yet essentially immune to the attempt
to cross it out. In effect delineiated by an edge of scuffed white. The N itself should be black.

ps.

Khan as an Australian, you're a moron.
