It's been a while since I've posted a cover that was totally vertically oriented -- by that, I mean both image and type.

Yup. I'll note that.
I like the tension in the d'Ambrosio cover - it looks as though things are about to tumble. Here my eye wanders around in the composition. In the "Falling Man" it simply slides down and out.
The surreal atmosphere and the choice of imagery on Coupland's cover doesn't jive with the book's content for me. Maybe it's because it's not open for interpretation, not as much as the first cover. The designer's take doesn't work.
I find this interesting as I just got my cover design and it has the vertical photo approach.
The shadow under the mattress in Eleanor Rigby is all wrong. That bothers me. I wish I could change it. :)
