This idea has been done to death. Surely there was a more original solution for this cover. I do love her work though.

I don't disagree that we've seen things like this before. But the execution looks flawless...and it's another book-on-a-book cover! :-)

The book pictured is set in all italics.

I have many books that contain page-length (and more) passages set in italics.

But a flawless execution of an old idea is still an old idea.

It may be done- but as a reader without design background- this worked for me. I would pick up the book.
