The Fifth Floor
Hardcover designs by Jason Booher; Black Lizard paperback by Gregg Kulick
I've not featured much crime fiction on the BDR, but I was pretty fond of the design for 2007's The Chicago Way. It didn't make it into the favorites of 2007, but it did make it into last year's Chicago favorites; how nice to find the look and feel continued on Harvey's new book. And the Vintage Crime / Black Lizard paperback at the bottom of this post ain't nothin' to sneeze at either.

I dislike the pointless shadows on the covers, but I love the slightly granulated images. Especially the woman's mouth on The Chicago Way; it feels very reminiscent of Lichtenstein's art.
Bottom one is by far the best.
Bottom one is Kulick. Nicely done man. Diggin the silver ink in the city lights.
The top two are by Jason Booher
I would really like the bottom one except I'm completely distracted by the fact that the font and even color of the author's name seem utterly out of place, almost as if the name is pasted from another book.
these are all very wonderful.
What sort of cover design would you give this?
