For some reason, the cover fails to be glamorous, probably because it tries too hard?
When I squint, I see a perfume bottle.
Ooo... it's Federico Fellini meets Audrey Hepburn.
I like the photo, but the bling doesn't read "glamour" to me. Are those rhinestones in relief?
Katie: I went to the bookstore on my lunch hour today and forgot to check this out in person, so I'm not sure.
The photo is alright but them font choices are all wrong
Not enough glamourous for me, and I think the font choices are not the best ones too.
I think glamour is a very personal, regional, and cultural thing. Also very dependent on the era you're talking about. I say it's a good job.
My first thought was that she looks like she's in a chicken wire cage. I thought it was subtle, that she's trapped by her glamour. If that's the theme of the book, well done. If not... maybe I'm just not the book's target audience.
