I've got a design crush on Coralie Bickford-Smith, and I'm not alone. She was recently interviewed by Karen Horton over at design:related; read this wonderful, deep interview as soon as you can. I poached this cover from the interview, and if it does nothing for you, you should at least think about one thing: how cool is it that Penguin designers are free to play so much with the Penguin logo?

I love this cover. And I can tell by the colors that the pencil on the right is a Derwent Graphic.

I think...this is not a standard craft book. It is an insiteful analysis of craft as a social and human phenomenon. And for me the cover book design is pretty nice.
I like many-coloured things in general and it is proved that books with such covers draw your attention at once. Your hands reach out for such books automatically. And besides, the pens are really nice, I like the idea. I’ll use the info for my essay writing sample.
Oh such a wonderful colourful things which make me glad all the time!
