From the New York Review of Books

From a story on what's got to be one of the scariest things in the world, children with AK-47s. Two very different design approaches -- both very effective, IMO.

I would not buy either book. However, that being said, while the second one is a sedative, that first one will give me nightmares. Totally effective.

I like the unexpected contradictions in that photo--the baby smooth face and the tiniest grin, the gorgeous colors. It's so damn pretty. And the kid looks cute and proud. And then it's also hideous that he knows how to hold the gun like that and that skull in the background. I love how it pulls my senses in different directions and refuses to let me see it in one way.
