Nothing against the US cover (top), but I really prefer the UK one (bottom). Far more creepy.

Joseph...Usually, I'm in agreement with you about the UK vs. US covers. Today, however, I couldn't disagree more. The UK version looks comical, not creepy, and the typography leaves a lot to be desired. The book is about such a serious subject, and the US version treats it with the respect it deserves.
Dean: the UK cover might not be as creepy as I first thought, but I still think I prefer it, if only for the reason that it reminds us that evil doesn't always puke green soup.

dean, i disagree, precisely the "comedic" look is what makes it so effectively creepy.

The bottom one is creepy but I prefer the top one.
