Unspeak, UK Paperback
A good number of readers wrote in about the hardcover when we discussed it some time back, including the author Steven Poole. This new UK paperback is a bit less subtle ;-) There's something about the blurbs that bothers me: the one that reads "The pitch is pretty close to perfect" is aligned with the small bomb/missile on the bottom, which makes it look like it's misaligned with respect to the largest, most dominant figure.

That blurb is driving me CRAZY! It's like fingernails on a chalkboard.
I think the overall design is a bit tacky. It looks like the kind of cover that would be on a mass-market paperback found in the 50 cent bin at a Friends of the Library sale. Maybe it's the colors.
