How about John Gall's covers for Kobo Abe's novels?
@gh Not a bad call, but what I guess I'm thinking of here is more of a Twilight Zone intro kind of thing, with objects flying into the frame...
Nice. Very engaging.
Love the Fraction of the Whole jacket. It's bold and fun while retaining a sense of mystery. The little drawings are really sweet, like constellations. Totally fit's the book.
