A Tolerable Anarchy

Designer credit to come

At first glance ironic, until you notice the upside-down subtitle, at which point it becomes, um, tolerably anarchic. Love it.

At first glance, I couldn't help being reminded of The Kindly Ones - less so upon comparison, but the initial impression was definitely there.

Perfect. The really basic, by-the-textbook design of the rest of the cover just fits perfectly.

Interesting, but I am not amused. I guess I have seen a lot of this kind of work done, so it blends into my visual library of what I feel is really strong conceptually.

I also kind of resent covers that make you flip the book upside down to read stuff. Just me.

Actually my favorite cover I've seen on this blog - I'm a fan of classic, understated covers in general, and this one is that with a sense of fun!
