Our Hero: Superman on Earth

Designer credit to come

I'm dying to know how far you can push Superman iconography before hearing from the law firm of Siegel, Shuster & Luthor.

(FWIW, the same author's It's Superman! novel has a trademark disclaimer right on the front cover.)

It's Superman was licensed and approved by DC, who owns the trademark on Superman (subject to the current legal squabble), which explains the legal-ese on that cover. I'm not sure if this one is official or unofficial.

I find this cover much too quiet -- the title and subtitle run together too much and aren't differentiated sufficiently, and the author's name is nearly lost. Minimal covers can be much stronger than this.
