More US vs. UK design.
The US paperback of Smashed just came out, and it's essentially the same as the hardcover, with a blurb or two added:
I've always liked this simple but effective cover. But check out the UK hardcover:
Is it me, or is this photo *way* too generic? (And don't get me started on the feet :-))
The UK paperback is only slightly better. I think:

I think the UK paperback is the strongest.
What I want to know is, why is the UK version "The Story of a Drunk Girl," and the US version is "Story of a Drunken Girlhood"?
