The Girls Who Went Away

I saw this at the bookstore the other day; it's fantastic. Evan Gaffney, I think, who does some really great work. The type, the photos, the crops...everything works.

I agree - it's perfect. The title of the book suffers from ToMTOTCoD (too much text on the cover disease), a common affliction these days. But here the subtitle typography is handled in a great way (especially compared with The Good Fight).

Great reworking of the "yearbook gallery" cliché. This is a really wonderful design
