Interesting background, I suppose, otherwise not so interesting.
Also, why is the "DOT" in the design ad so prominent? It grabs the eye and won't let go and yet it is the most insignificant component of the whole message. I mean, come on - a poorly designed design ad? Sounds like a job for designgigs.com.
Ha! Of course, you're totally right about the dot. All I can say is that I did that in a bar and didn't revisit it (but will now :-))
Actually, this is the weekend (hopefully) that the new design will emerge...stay tuned.
